Suburban Hockey Club and Michigan Icebreakers Girls Hockey Club Enjoy the Farmington Founders Festival
The weekend of July 18-20 was a busy one for the SHC and MIBGHC as many players, coaches and families took part in the annual Farmington Founders Day Festival. We had almost 100 participants in the Saturday parade, marching along with one of the Olympia machines from SIFH. We also had a booth at the Festival, where festival attendees could test their shot, and get information about upcoming hockey and skating programs. A good time was had by all, and our participation within the Farmington community was well-received !

The 97 Stars won the Squirt AA State Championship on March 2nd with a 6-3 victory over the Oakland Jr. Grizzlies at Plymouth Cultural Center. Austin Alger earned MVP honors with a phenomenal 4 goal performance. Congratulations Boys !

Stars Serve at Big Boy (0 images)
The 97 Suburban Stars enjoyed a fun and rewarding night as Celebrity Servers at Big Boy. The boys did a fantastic job, and were able to raise enough money to pay for their International Silver Stick tournament in Ontario. Thanks to Sandie, Terri, Susan, and all the mothers for setting this up.
